ACU Welcomes U.S. Senator Dick Durbin as a Keynote Speaker at Our NHSC 50th Anniversary Gala
The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved is proud to welcome U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) as a speaker at our National Health Service Corps 50th Anniversary Gala on August 1 in Washington, D.C.
The senior U.S. Senator from Illinois, Durbin has worked tirelessly to help address healthcare disparities and workforce shortages through his unwavering support of the National Health Service Corps. ACU’s 2021 Congressional Champion Award Winner, Durbin has exemplified the spirit of bipartisan leadership necessary to help make the Corps and other vital programs a reality.
Durbin will join HRSA Administrator Carole Johnson and The Dance of Legislation author Eric Redman, as a keynote speaker at this singular night of festivities and ceremonies complementing our 2022 Conference, “Resilience & Transformation in Care.” Our conference takes place in-person in Washington, D.C. and online, and will feature over 20 workshops, exciting general sessions and keynotes, networking opportunities, engaging poster sessions, and much more.
