ACU Welcomes Dr. Teeb Al-Samarrai as the Closing Keynote Speaker at the 2022 ACU Conference

The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved is honored to welcome nationally recognized public health leader Dr. Teeb Al-Samarrai, MD, MS, Director of Science and Policy at the Office of the Surgeon General, as the closing keynote speaker at our 2022 Conference, “Resilience & Transformation,” in Washington, D.C., and online on July 31-August 2.

Dr. Al-Samarrai provides strategic leadership and scientific and policy expertise in the Office of the Surgeon General, ensuring its evidence base, overseeing the Surgeon General’s Advisories and Reports, and supporting the peer-reviewed Public Health Reports. Having previously served as a White House Fellow & Senior Advisor at the Department of Energy with a portfolio that included then-Vice President Biden’s “Cancer Moonshot,” she is passionate about building thriving, joyful, and connected communities.
