Webinar: BPHC Workforce Well-being Technical Assistance Initiative: Incorporating Workforce Well-being into Your Strategic Plan

Join ACU and our partners in the BPHC Workforce Well-Being TA Initiative for a webinar that will launch three videos which overview actionable strategies for leadership, board members, and employees to commit to and implement workforce well-being initiatives into their health center’s strategic plan.
Incorporating workforce well-being into an organization’s strategic plan is a vital part of increasing employee retention at health centers. This webinar will include information applicable to all health center audiences and will start with an overview of the components of the strategic planning process, containing the assessment, development, implementation, and monitoring phases. The webinar will also illustrate ways in which an organization can incorporate workforce well-being into their strategic plan. Integrating workforce well-being into your strategic plan should include assessing current workforce well-being strategies, creating mission, vision, and value statements incorporating workforce well-being, conducting employee satisfaction surveys, and identifying key areas for improvement. Additionally, the webinar will introduce recorded sections available on the project website which explore actionable strategies for leadership, board members, and employees to commit to and implement workforce well-being initiatives. These recorded sections can be viewed at the health center’s convenience to inform and engage a variety of stakeholders during the strategic planning process.

By the end of the case study presentation, participants will be able to:
- Adapt components of strategic planning processes to address workforce well-being.
- Integrate workforce well-being strategies into their strategic plan.
- Understand the roles of the health center’s board of directors, leadership, and employees in incorporating workforce well-being into a strategic plan.
