Webinar: Considerations for Health Center Leaders
August 14 | 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Hosted by the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved with our primary care association partners, this webinar will explore holistic approaches to creating supportive, Suicide Safer Care-informed practices at health centers.
Community health center leaders need to think about the role they play in their community to help suicide prevention efforts and to communicate that suicides are preventable. Health center leaders need to consider strong clinical pathways to care for patients at risk, support for employees, and human resources to address suicide risk among staff as suicide among healthcare providers is a rising problem.
Through ACU’s Suicide Safer Care curriculum, participants will learn about the prevalence of suicide and ways their health center can be proactive in creating a system that supports patients and team members who are at risk for suicide.
