Webinar: BPHC Workforce Well-being Technical Assistance Initiative: Case Study: Adopting Compensation and Benefits for Workforce Well-being
August 20 | 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
This case study from the BPHC Workforce Well-Being TA Initiative highlights the experience of Primary Health Network (PHN), a health center in Pennsylvania. Like many health centers, PHN faces challenges with burnout and turnover amongst staff.
Primary Health Network offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits program for its staff. They also recently introduced a new benefit to combat burnout and provide additional support for their family medicine providers. PHN now offers provider staff the option to provide care virtually via telehealth two days a week. Through this program offering, PCN is working towards increased workforce well-being and reduced turnover among provider staff. In addition to this new and unique benefit for providers, PHN offers a wide range of benefits to all staff including time off for volunteer activities and reimbursement for gym memberships as well as a robust compensation program. Through this case study presentation, we delve into PHN’s experiences with their compensation and benefits program, and how the variety of benefits impacted the well-being of their staff.
