The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) is pleased to announce the official launch of its Solutions, Training, and Assistance for Recruitment and Retention (STAR²) Center at www.chcworkforce.org. The STAR² Center will provide resources, regional training, and individual technical assistance to help health centers address their clinician workforce challenges.

Resources
The STAR² Center hosts an online resource center, cataloging a wide variety of toolkits, research, best practices, and other materials related to recruitment and retention. The resource center includes both original content from ACU and relevant content from partner organizations. Most resources are free, and the library will continue to grow over the next year.

Training
Through the creation and release of individual health center recruitment and retention profiles in early 2015, the STAR² Center will identify clusters of health center need. ACU will then deliver regional trainings to address those specific issues, in the format of preconference sessions at Primary Care Association conferences. More information on those training sessions will be available in March 2015.

Technical Assistance
Individual technical assistance is available to all. Free phone consultations are available by contacting the STAR² Center via web form, email, or phone at 844-ACU-HIRE. More in-depth, onsite technical assistance will be available throughout the year for health centers of the highest need.
