NHSC Logo (Larger)ACU is recruiting National Health Service Corps (NHSC) members and alumni who are interested in advising or mentoring in our new NHSC Empowering Clinicians for Resiliency and Transformative Care Initiative with the Bureau of Health Workforce and Abt Associates. This initiative will help prepare NHSC pipeline participants to serve communities with longstanding health needs, building their resiliency and capacity to address the root causes of health inequities. We are seeking NHSC members and alumni to serve on committees, participate in trainings and technical assistance, and mentor new NHSC pipeline participants.

More About Our NHSC Empowering Clinicians for Resiliency and Transformative Care Program

The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Empowering Clinicians for Resiliency and Transformative Care Program is a five-year initiative of the Health Resources and Services Administration Bureau of Health Workforce. The program will run from September 2021 – August 2025 with the first year focused on program development. The program helps prepare NHSC Scholarship Program and Students to Services Loan Repayment Program participants for their service at NHSC-approved sites by building the capacity to 1.) eliminate health disparities through community engagement and advocacy and 2.) build their resiliency to stressors that can arise from routine practice and during a public health crisis.
