Advocates: Mark Your Calendar for Our Calls-to-Action on Dec. 10!
The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) is asking all advocates to please call their US Senators and House Representative on Tuesday, Dec. 10, and ask them to reauthorize the NHSC program at $950 million in mandatory funding over the next three years.
Congress is currently in the midst of negotiating an end-of-year package, and it’s crucial that you take action to ensure the NHSC isn’t overlooked in the Community Health Center (CHC) funding discussions. To prepare for our day of advocacy, read our update below.
Be Ready to Call Your House Representative
ACU will send a reminder email on the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 10. The email will include a 202 number to make it easy for you to call, along with a message that will take less than 30 seconds to read!
