ACU Town Hall: The Healthcare Workforce at a Crossroads

The challenges facing our community this year are many, and they are in some cases unprecedented. Between frozen payment systems and looming fiscal cliffs, evolving legislative landscapes and lingering uncertainties, the issues confronting our healthcare workforce are acute. So, too, is the need to respond to emerging issues and advocate forcefully to ensure we can continue to increase access to quality care for all.
ACU invites you to share your voice at our interactive Town Hall as we explore “The Healthcare Workforce at a Crossroads.” This listening session will serve as a forum for ACU to listen and learn about the workforce, funding, and other issues you’re navigating–and how we can help and collectively advocate. This interactive conversation will also feature a brief policy update and Q&A on how we can protect the National Health Service Corps and other health extender programs.
P.S. Health centers, Primary Care Associations, and any other organizations and individuals working to support or provide services and care for medically underserved communities are welcome.
