The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved’s (ACU) Board of Directors is pleased to announce a new professional designation to recognize individuals who demonstrate passion and commitment in working with underserved populations. The Fellowship of the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved is open to clinical or non-clinical professionals who meet the criteria of each of the three pillars of exceptional care to the underserved:

  • Commitment: exhibit a dedication to caring for those people and communities that have been minoritized, marginalized, or otherwise faced barriers to accessing healthcare and related services;
  • Expertise: have a deep understanding of the social, systemic, and historical factors that disrupt access to care for people and communities, and;
  • Engagement: are active with ACU and its broader community
