CHC Doula Training Programs: Help Us Advance Equity and Improve Maternal-Child Health Outcomes
Doulas can contribute to improved maternal and infant outcomes and experiences by providing continuous support throughout pregnancy, but health centers often face substantial barriers when establishing these services.
ACU is excited to announce our national pilot program on establishing a sustainable, community-based doula training programs in community health centers. Apply by Nov. 1 for this learning opportunity that will explore models from existing CHC programs that have successfully expanded their patient care offerings and workforce opportunities by developing a doula training program. Learn about program recruitment, creating a community-informed training program, upskilling and retaining perinatal team members, and more over the course of ten monthly sessions.
