National Health Center Week: August 7-13

This week the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved celebrates the work of community health centers across the nation along with their history and commitment to improving the health of the medically under-resourced. Health centers have made access to healthcare and critical services a reality for historically marginalized populations for the past five decades. This year’s celebration comes at a unique time, as the National Health Service Corps is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022.

This year’s National Health Center Week theme is “Community Health Centers: Chemistry for Strong Communities.” Join us in honoring the clinicians, providers, staff, administrators, and patients of federally qualified health centers this week by highlighting your health center and the critical work that you do to make our communities healthier and stronger. Participate in National Health Center Week on social media by sharing health center week events and using the hashtags #NHCW2022 and #ValueCHCs.

Learn more about each focus day, access a media toolkit, and find out how you can shine a light on the difference health centers are making in the world each day.
