One of the numerous advantages of being a member of the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU), are the various workshops, trainings and continuing education opportunities that ACU provides to our members free of charge. This month, ACU will provide seven free registrations to the National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care in Orlando, FL. The conference, sponsored by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), offers learning labs and workshops on various topics including: Mental Health and Well Being, Equity, Leadership, Maternal and Child Health, Population Health, and numerous other energizing themes. ACU is able to sponsor these individuals thanks to a grant from Kaiser Permanente Community Benefit.
