The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) is hiring a new administrative assistant to join our team! ACU is a fast-growing organization filled with mission-driven people committed to improving the health of America’s underserved populations and supporting the clinicians serving these populations. We’re looking for someone equally committed to that cause who can help grow ACU’s activities as part of our team as our new administrative assistant. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess excellent interpersonal communication skills. Experience with membership and communication activities is preferred. The ACU offices are located in Washington, D.C.

Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

  • Human Resources:
    • Collection and review of timesheets
    • Tracking employee PTO
    • Employee expense management
  • Membership:
    • Data entry and report generation
    • Mailing invoices and procuring member information
    • Research and other tasks as needed
  • Communications:
    • Create and edit webpages
    • Generate metrics reports
    • Data entry
    • Assist with social media
  • Basic Administrative Functions

Qualifications for the Administrative Assistant

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with G-Suite programs
  • Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Self-directed
  • Creative problem-solving skills
