Upcoming Webinar: Suicide Safer Care for Primary Care Providers

A Presentation of the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved, Hawai‘i Primary Care Association, and Mental Health – America

December 2, 2020 | 5-6 p.m. ET

This webinar will provide a comprehensive approach to the identification and management of patients at risk for suicide in a primary care setting and within the course of a routine primary care visit. Participants will learn the role primary care can play in suicide prevention, risk assessments, lethal means restriction and safety planning.  Primarily focused toward FQHCs, this training is strongly recommended for all medical leadership, primary care providers and their teams. Suicide is one of the few chronic conditions where rates continue to rise nationally, and are expected to rise even more as the communities struggle with COVID-19.
