The latest edition of ACU’s official Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved highlights several topics concerning emerging adults and pediatric patients, clinical care, and minoritized populations. From the intersection of parental justice involvement and child health to a socio-legal framework for assessing determinants of health in the Jamaican trans community, the August issue contains a diverse array of topics critical to improving the health of medically under-resourced communities. Also included is a supplemental issue sponsored by the Office of Minority Health (OMH) representing work supported by the office in the form of grants.
