She excelled in various roles in operations, training, and technical assistance for Community Health Centers and PCAs, before ending her tenure at the National Association of Community Health Centers. Lewis now serves as a keynote speaker, executive coach and trainer for Fortune 500 companies, healthcare organizations, and education institutions across the nation.

Increasing Employee Engagement at Your Community Health Center (CHC)

Held on June 28, 2021, this webinar was the first session in the ACU STAR² Center’s webinar series “Managing in the Time of COVID-19 and Beyond,” which focused on staff managing employees at health centers and the skills they need to have a positive impact on their workforce in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics covered included increasing employee engagement, policies and procedures, the logistics of changing care teams, and incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion work into their management. This dynamic series will assist health center managers in understanding the importance of clear communication during the crisis and beyond to create an engaged workforce.
