ACU’s STAR² Center is excited to open applications for our Recruitment Boot Camp: Mental Health Staff Edition. Building on the success of the previous boot camps, this learning collaborative will provide a focused look at the most pertinent topics affecting the recruitment and retention of mental health providers.

The boot camp will take place over four sessions held on Oct. 18, Oct. 25, Nov. 1, and Nov. 8 from 2-3:15 p.m. ET. Healthcare staff attending this learning collaborative will:

  • Learn the components of a strong recruitment and retention strategy
  • Understand the different types of mental health providers and their roles
  • Explore compensation equity, marketing, job announcements, onboarding, and pathway and career development
  • Focus on the importance of a strong organizational culture centered on mission, equity, and empathy

Applications are due by close of business on October 11, and participants will be notified about their conditional acceptance on October 13. To confirm acceptance, health center leadership will need to acknowledge and commit to the cohort member’s participation by October 17. Please contact Mariah Blake with any questions.
