ACU will hold its first-ever Behavioral Health Leadership Forum following our 2024 Conference, Envisioning a More Equitable Future: Advancing Stakeholder-Centered Innovation, on August 7, and we’re excited to complement this offering with limited scholarships to help behavioral health clinicians attend! Learn more about eligibility requirements and apply by Friday, June 7, for these scholarships, which will offer funding to help facilitate:

  • Free registration to the Conference
  • Free registration to our post-Conference Behavioral Health Leadership Forum
  • Three nights of lodging at the Westin Washington DC Downtown (August 4th, 5th, and 6th)
  • Limited reimbursement assistance for travel costs

Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria and agree to attend both our 2024 Conference and the Behavioral Health Leadership Forum. Individuals who demonstrate passion and commitment to advancing the quality of and access to behavioral healthcare in underserved communities will be given priority, as will ensuring a diversity of attendees and organizations represented.

About Our Behavioral Health Leadership Forum

Join us for a unique full-day seminar in behavioral health leadership at community health centers (CHCs) following the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU)’s 2024 ConferenceEnvisioning a More Equitable Future: Advancing Stakeholder-Centered Innovation! On August 7 with the support of a grant from The Pew Charitable Trusts, with support from Bloomberg Philanthropies, this in-depth seminar and networking event will highlight best practices in CHC behavioral health leadership, suicide prevention, and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment.

National experts will discuss holistic approaches to behavioral health at health centers—from understanding finances and population health to integrated transdisciplinary care—as well as case studies in medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) at CHCs, best practices for creating cultures of Suicide Safer Care at CHCs, and more.
