The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) is adding to its team! ACU is a fast-growing organization filled with mission-driven people committed to improving the health of America’s underserved populations and supporting the clinicians serving these populations. We’re looking for someone equally committed to that cause who can help support in a variety of administrative functions for ACU’s National Health Center Workforce Training and Technical Assistance Institute project. The Institute will serve as a central hub for all stakeholder engagement activities to ensure integration and coordination throughout the Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The Institute will work to improve communication and outreach, stakeholder engagement, amplify impact and enhance workforce recruitment and retention at community-based training sites, especially in areas of workforce experiencing shortages.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in time management, and possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate has experience with virtual meeting platforms, website management and communications. The ACU offices are located in Washington, DC.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in the scheduling of virtual meetings relating to stakeholder engagement activities and virtual meetings
• Assist with the planning and execution of annual in-person stakeholder engagement
• Assist with the creation of a website to collect all related project resources and lead updates and maintenance of the project website
• Lead data entry and report generation for the project
• Other administrative functions
• Other projects as needed
Qualifications for Position
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with G-Suite programs
• Experience with website creation/maintenance programs including WordPress
• Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed
• Creative problem-solving skills
