2023 Conference

The ACU Conference Call for Proposals is Now Open: Submit Your Abstract by Feb. 10

The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved has opened our call for workshop and poster abstracts for our 2023 ACU Annual Conference, Transformation: Elevating Care, Clinicians, and Communities. #ACUConf will take place in-person at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C., from July 23-26, 2023, and will unite hundreds of healthcare clinicians, administrators, advocates, and public health and industry leaders from across the U.S. The meeting is a special opportunity for clinicians, administrators, researchers, students, and advocates to network, learn, and share strategies to support our collective work.

This year’s conference theme, Transformation: Elevating Care, Clinicians, and Communities, highlights the need to ensure high-quality, accessible, and inclusive care for all, support and elevate our healthcare workforce, and advance health equity in medically underserved populations.

Up to twenty-four abstracts will be selected for 60- and 75-minute workshops. Sessions will be grouped into three tracks: Workforce, Clinical Practice, and Emerging Issues. ACU asks presenters to develop their content through a lens of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
