ACU Welcomes Dr. Kyu Rhee, TechQuity Expert, SVP of CVS Health, & CMO of Aetna, as a 2021 Keynote Speaker

Dr. Kyu Rhee, 2021 Conference Keynote Speaker

The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved welcomes Dr. Kyu (“Q”) Rhee, MD, MPP, Senior Vice President of CVS Health and Chief Medical Officer of Aetna, as the third keynote speaker at our virtual 2021 Conference, “Mission: Health Equity,” on Nov. 1-2. Dr. Rhee is a nationally recognized authority in public health and TechQuity, the strategic development and deployment of technology for health equity. He will help headline our symposium exploring the need to leverage technology and other innovations to eliminate health disparities and address systemic practices contributing to poor health in minority and intersectional groups.

Dr. Rhee is the Senior Vice President and Aetna Chief Medical Officer at CVS Health. He and his team lead the integration and delivery of clinical and population health solutions. He is passionate and grateful to work for a health care innovation company with a simple and clear purpose: “to help people on their path to better health” from the community to the home to the palm of their hand. Rhee also served as the former Chief Health Officer of IBM Watson Health, where he was the senior physician executive leader of hundreds of clinicians and scientists on staff, and as the Chief Public Health Officer at the Health Resources and Services Administration.

Rhee’s presentation will be but one highlight in our CME-accredited ACU Conference offering crucial trainings for clinicians, administrators, and advocates alike. Featuring three unique tracks—Workforce, Policy, and Practice—as well as exciting general sessions and keynotes, the event will offer more than 20 educational workshops and more.
