The 2014 NHSC Loan Repayment Program application cycle is now open. The application cycle will close on March 20, at 7:30 pm, ET. To help ensure that the communities with the greatest need are supported, qualified applicants working in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) with the highest scores as of January 1, 2014, will be given priority. With continued service, NHSC providers may be able to pay off all of their student loans.
The Program is expected to be competitive, and on average, it takes a few weeks to complete an application so please begin the process as soon as possible. Be sure to check out the list of required documentation for qualified applications.
