ACU is thrilled to welcome Mary Kasal to our board of directors. She currently serves as President and CEO of Missouri Health Connection (MHC), Missouri’s statewide Health Information Network. In this role, Mary oversees all MHC operations and the execution of its mission to improve the quality of medical care, reduce costs and medical errors and empower Missourians to take a more active role in their own health care.
Her experience in health information technology, clinical engineering and healthcare operations spans over 25 years. She began her career in health information networks, in 1993, when she was asked to collaborate with the Medical Society in Kern County California to form a Community Health Information Network (CHIN). She was also a vice president at Cornerstone Advisors, LLC, a health care information technology company, and the Executive Director of Franciscan Health Information Exchange for Franciscan Health Systems—one of the largest health information organizations in the Western US. Most recently she was President and CEO of Missouri Health Connection (MHC), Missouri’s statewide Health Information Network. In this role, Mary oversaw all MHC operations and the execution of its mission to improve the quality of medical care, reduce costs and medical errors and empower Missourians to take a more active role in their own health care
Mary’s impressive resume and commitment to improving the health of all Americans makes her an invaluable asset to our organization. We look forward to her working closely with our other board members in guiding ACU towards fulfilling its core mission.
